Manage Private Photos
Use this guide to attach, replace, retry, or remove private photos where your active Humidor Reserve product version supports them.
Photo workflow
Steps
- Open a supported record. Humidor and active cigar photo controls appear where the active product version allows attachments. Tasting-record photos are available with Exclusive.
- Check the active plan behavior. Free does not allow new photo attachments. Premium allows one photo per humidor and one photo per active cigar. Exclusive adds tasting-record photo support.
- Choose camera or photo library. Camera access is requested only after you choose camera. Photo-library attachment uses the system picker path.
- Review the preview before saving. Imported images are normalized into app-owned JPEG files before they become private account data.
- Replace or remove when needed. Existing photos can be replaced where the active product version allows replacement. Preserved photos remain readable after downgrade, and explicit removal stays available.
- Watch sync status. A record can sync while its photo upload is still pending or failed. Upload Failed and pending states stay visible so you can retry or remove the photo.
- Review media network settings. Sync/Network settings includes a separate cellular control for photo and receipt uploads. If cellular media upload is disabled and Wi-Fi is unavailable, media upload waits.
- Resolve repeated failures from Profile. Repeated unresolved photo failures surface through the Profile warning badge and Sync/Network summary, with affected records opened where the local parent still exists.
