Adding humidors

Add Private Humidors

Use this guide to create or edit private storage locations in the public Humidor Reserve 1.0 iPhone and iPad app.

Humidors workflow

Steps

  1. Open the Humidors tab. The Humidors tab lists your private storage locations with type, optional location, and capacity counts.
  2. Tap the plus button. The add button opens the Add Humidor form. Existing rows can be opened first when you need to edit a saved humidor.
  3. Enter the required details. Add a name, choose the humidor type, and enter capacity. Capacity must be between 1 and 10,000 and cannot be lower than active cigars when editing.
  4. Review target conditions. New humidors start with 66% RH and 63 degrees F, or 17 degrees C when your profile uses Celsius. Temperature is stored as canonical Fahrenheit after save.
  5. Add optional context. Location and notes are free text. Add a humidor photo only when the active product version allows humidor photos.
  6. Save the humidor. Saved rows show count-only capacity such as 0/25, and detail screens show the target humidity and temperature.
  7. Edit or delete later. Open a humidor to edit its details. Empty humidors can be deleted permanently, while humidors with active cigars must be emptied before deletion.
